**The Role**:
As our CTO (Chief Technology Officer), you will be the catalyst of our client's technical team, leading Engineers to create seminal infrastructure tools that is refining how we experience financial data in the attention economy. This is an opportunity to code the tools of a transparent tomorrow.

Please note that this requires 3 days / week onsite in the Lisbon office.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Pilot our technical vision. Propel our innovation.
- Build and lead a team of exceptional software and data Engineers, sparking a culture ingrained with innovation and initiative.
- Flawlessly leverage AI industry tool augmentations, and seamlessly innovate.

**About You**:

- You are a high-agency leader. You don’t wait for problems to arise, you foresee them and preemptively navigate past them. Others aren’t aware of the great work that you have done to circumvent the obstacle. That’s OK for you. This is not about taking credit. This is about building an exceptional company. And you want to do exactly that.
- You are endlessly curious. You immerse yourself in new technologies and are committed to discovery.
- You are a backend engineering specialist, with expertise in Apache Kafka or Flink, ETL processes, and Node.js. You have worked with large amounts of real-time financial data in (probably) banking or FinTech, continually striving for lower latency.
- You are a natural leader, able to translate highly technical concepts into mínimalist elegance.
