+ATLANTIC is looking for a Master's degree holder to join our Data Science Unit.

PROFILE:
SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Spoken and written mastery of Portuguese and English
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer
- Expertise in Machine Learning methods SVMs, clustering (K-means, DBSCAN, Dirichlet), autocorrelation, and Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, autoencoders)
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms (SVM, RF, CNN, LSTM) and packages such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark, and Keras
- Hands-on experience in building predictive models
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Publishing and presenting analytics research and results
- Experience using Docker, Airflow, or Kubernetes is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and validate prototypes using statistical and Machine Learning models (preferably using Python or R)
- Test proposed solutions and pipelines on real data
- Deploy solutions on cloud-based infrastructure
- Manage end-to-end processes, from designing and running experiments to serving production models at scale
- Design strategies and propose algorithms to analyse and leverage data from existing as well as new data sources
- Create innovative and forward-looking solutions for solving real business problems related to the Blue Economy
- Present findings to internal and external audiences
