The Lean Product and Process Development (LPPD) Intern is designed to provide hands-on experience with engineering professionals from the perspective of a Tier-One Automotive Supplier. The internship will provide individuals with exposure to the lean product development process. Individual assignments will include providing support to the LPPD group with planning workshops, further developing the LPPD process, helping manage facilitation processes globally, and other similar tasks.

**Responsibilities**:
- Creation of documentation for Lean Product and Process Development (LPPD) and active participation in LPPD meetings- Design and conduct follow up meeting- Support on LPPD workshops preparation- Support of design, performing and documenting LPPD- Support on new support LPPD tools - Bottleneck elimination - SW development support-
- Support in LPPD continuous improvement process

Qualifications Or Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field (preferred Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineer)- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (valued)- knowledge of line production environment in the automobile industry (valued)- Professional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills required- Good English language skills (spoken and written)- IT user skills
