On the back of the extraordinary growth, we have enjoyed in the past years, **we aim to centralise parts of our Accounting team and further develop the Accounting function**. The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.
Responsibilities will include, among others:
- Manage and train a P2P team
- P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from all
- Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Review and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs
- Weekly and Month-end closing procedures including aging reports
- Process Payments
- Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
- Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation
Experience and Qualifications
**We see this role as **critical for the achievement of Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation goals while Group Accounting aims for centralization and automation.**
As a result, we are looking for a **self-starter **and **high potential** **/ top performer** individual who will combine **Leadership and Accounting knowledge** with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.
- Degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts
- Strong interest for Accounting
- Experienced professional with approx. 5yrs track-record within Leadership & Accounting in an international environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory as all work will be in English)
