**The job - ODU Consultant**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Performs qualitative and quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and develop client specific solutions
- Translates the data into meaningful insights and communicates recommendations to key decision makers
- Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge of technology/services solutions and trends for the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences market
- Participates/leads teams in the design, development and delivery of technology/service-based projects or components of larger and complex projects
- Assists with the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals and client solutions
- Provides follow-up with internal and/or external client to ensure client satisfaction
- Ability to gather client needs and develop new analytical solutions
- Working independently and as part of a team, with ability to manage work streams, assigning tasks and driving them to completion. May assist with business development activities
- Independently creates presentations for clients and attends, supports, and presents at client meetings
- Provides thought leadership and innovation within project and practice areas
- Leads project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, and coordinating team meetings
- Works with leadership to define project scope and develop approach
- Assists in developing detailed documentation and specifications, including business process documentation, SOPs, and client data scorecards
- Develops broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities
- Helps improving how clients build marketing capabilities by identifying and focusing on key opportunities that can drive increased growth
- Prepared to learn and be expert at all IQVIA data sources, specifically US dedicated data assets, including SMART, P360, MIDAS, AnalyticsLink, and associated products
- Be able to quickly learn and work with sales and promotional data, market and epidemiology assessment, pipeline analysis and market research
- Deploy on-site involvement anywhere in Europe, depending on business demands.
- MSc degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 3/5 years of relevant healthcare experience namely understanding processes and key issues within the pharmaceutical marketplace
- Exposure and experience in statistics and consulting - Demonstrative analysis, interpretation, and problem-solving skills, working with large and multiple data sets to process data in the format required for analysis
- Fluency in essential, written, and verbal English and any other European language (German or French as a priority), well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills
- Project management experience
- Strong ability to manage priorities so that deadlines are met, maintaining consistent, high-quality results
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
- Strong experience with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Excel VBA would be beneficial)
- Hands-on experience in business intelligence tools SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBi, Qlik or similar
- Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales & marketing business principals
- Ability to follow SOPs, processes and execute effective documentation of project-related work
- Knowledge of professional / commercial associations, key people, and companies.
- Effective communication, project management and time management skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically
- Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors
- Availability and ability to travel - 80% of the time
