Proclinical are recruiting an Analytical Development Scientist for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Lisbon. The client is focused on developing phytochemicals, with a scientific and evidential basis, for therapeutic use to help people.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will test samples using a variety of techniques, which involves GC, HPLC, Combustion Ion, etc.
- Perform analysis on raw resources, in-process samples both routine and nonroutine, as well as final products.
- Responsible for chromatography, Karl Fischer, FTIR and UV-Vis.
- Assume analytical strategy development, method validation to assist the R&D team.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a chemistry or similar field.
- Familiarity in either HPLC-MS or GC-MS.
- Acquaintance in chemistry organisations.
- Past involvement in upholding and tuning single quad GC and LC MS.
- Familiarity with using traditional 'wet' chemical as well as physical testing practices, such as aqueous and non-aqueous titrations and viscosity measurements.
