**We would like to welcome to our international team a colleague on the position: NPI (New Product Introduction) Purchasing Supervisor**

**Job overview**:

- Support purchasing team with target cost commitment to facilitate project acquisition phase
- Creating the NPI road map to communicate the Product Line future requirements, goals and objectives
- Driving cost reduction initiatives using typical Procurement leverage such as incremental volume or VA/VE opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with company's Supply Chain strategy regarding low inventory, lean value streams and days of payables outstanding
- Coaching and leading two other team members (in the future even more)
- Identifying and driving process improvements

**Place of work**:
This position is based in the modern TE Connectivity plant in Évora - one of our largest in Europe focused on production for automotive. However, we offer home office, exact time is always upon agreement. Occasional business trips (around 20% of work time) might occur within Europe.

**Ideal experience and skills for this position**:

- Several years of experience in procurement and/or technical field, e.g. process engineering, product engineering, tool manufacturing
- Experience in project management
- Extensive experience in working with multicultural and cross functional teams
- Leadership experience (direct and/or functional reporting)
- Fluency in English
