**The Role**:
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team. The role can be based in the office or remotely with time in the engineering lab when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Support collection of business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly.
- Support and contribute to the documentation of "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
- Contribute to and support feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective, and document findings.
- Identify solution recommendations to business problems when given fairly well understood business needs at a business unit level.
- Plan and deliver small projects or workstreams using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved.
- Act as a team member supporting a change initiative by providing analysis or monitoring progress with guidance from a project/program manager.
- Execute and deliver elements of the digital road map, leveraging agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.
- Track budgets and report variances to more senior colleagues.
- Evaluate costs and identify variances or opportunities to improve profitability for more senior colleagues.
**Who you’ll be**:To be successful in this position, you will have proven experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised.
