Accounts Receivable Specialist

Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Accounts Receivable Specialist to integrate the Treasury team of Logoplaste.

Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Specialist analyses and monitors the ageing of customer receivables and manages factoring and reverse factoring.

Key tasks & Activities

Accounts Receivable
- Verifies with customers if issued invoices where received and are approved for payment
- Contacts customers in case of overdue invoices
- Interacts with other departments, concerning possible discrepancies in price or/and quantity
- Elaborates customers ageing reports
- Elaborates the comments related to receivables in the working capital report

Factoring and Reverse Factoring
- Prepares the files to be send to the factoring company
- Posts the amounts received from/or paid to the factoring or reverse factoring company
- Calculates the interests and commissions charged by the factoring and reverse factoring company
- Performs month end tasks, such as accruals and deferrals related to factoring and reverse factoring
- Validates the position in SAP against bank statements
- Assures that the amounts received from factoring and reverse factoring are posted with the same due date as the correspondant invoices

Who we are looking for

Background and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Management or Economics (preferable but not mandatory)
- 2-5 years of experience in equivalent function (preferable but not mandatory)

Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- English language proficiency (mandatory)
- Previous experience using SAP

Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Aptitude for process improvement
- Attention to detail, getting to root cause of problems
