**Bragança site looking for a Production&Logistic Supervisor**

**Overall responsibilities and duties**:
Organization: Is responsible for 15 to 25 operators working on the same shift.

The main missions of the role are:

- ** QCDP Performance**: develops the objectives fixed and manages the necessaries tools to achieve them:

- Propose and follows QCDP indicators (Quality, Cost, Delivery and People);
- Ensure the necessary training and motivates different work team to improve performance (QRCI, 5S, etc.);
- Defines, with the supervisors of the others shifts and with the Logistics Manager, objectives QCDP to the different GAP’s: SCRAP, MPM’s, PDP
- Achievement, Absenteeism, number of accidents, Improvement Ideas, etc;
- Follows the GAP’s performance during the shifts and reports accurate data at the end of the shift;
- Manage resources to reach results: adapt/identifies recruitment needs;
- React immediately in case of a problem: take care of immediate containment, call support functions if necessary, built action plans;
- Participate in Pull System/Kanban deployment;
- Proposes solutions and methodologies that contributes for optimization of processes
- **
People Management**:

- Ensure daily management:

- Presence on the shopfloor, daily contact with team members, ensure a close team management;
- Manage teams: daily and weekly plan shift changes, absenteeism, holidays and over time;
- Coach all team members in how to perform their role;
- Support and help operators to solve interpersonal and operational problems;
- Ensure rigor and discipline (work clothes, EPI’s, work schedule);
- Ensure respect for standards and safety instructions, policies and procedures;
- Participate on selection and recruitment of staff;
- Ensure proper induction of newcomers;
- Define and manage training plan and development of team members;
- Manage appraisal process to all staff;
- Validates and manages operators polyvalence and follows this process (evolution vs training plan);
- Ensure recognition of individual performance of each member of the team;
- Ensure accurate information to and from the team: TOP5 with GAP Leaders, regular meetings with GAP’s for information exchange, quickly critical information exchange;
- Built, adapt and improve standardizes work documents;

Health, Safety, Environment and Work Conditions**:

- Responsible for immediately stop the logistic mechanism in case of safety risk;
- Pilot and leads HSE Core Team in GAP’s and follow the deployment of action plans;
- Guide improvements of work conditions and ergonomics;
- Ensure that all outsources know and respect proceedings;
- Audits outsourcers;
- Manages wastes and empty containers park;
- Manages recycle materials;
- Ensure update registers of environment management system;
- Ensure arrangement, cleaning, order and rigor in his/her sector (5s);
- Carry out the actions it has designated for the emergency plan;
- **
Handling facilities**:

- Participates on operators training for machines driving;
- Assure timely communication with the Plant PC&L Manager and internal clients;
- Participate in the department daily meeting and reports performance of the GAP’s;
- Exchange information with the supervisor of the previous shift and record the most important information;
- Participate with supervisors colleagues in improving the performance of UAP;
- Pilots Dashboard with the technical support functions;

**Qualifications**:
Minimum education level: Bachelor or Master in Managemente or Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) (preferably)

Experience: Professional preferably in an industrial environment
