We are looking for a OCEAN PROCUREMENT OFFICER for Rhenus AIR &OCEAN, who will join the team in Portugal. This position is located in Porto. **Principle Accountabilities**
1-Optimize the purchase and allocation of spaces on ships and transport providers for it improvement of maritime transport results following the corporate guidelines.
2-Negotiate prices and spaces with different ships, as well as with other shipping providers.
3-Optimize the results of maritime traffic in the designated area of influence.
4-Control the cargo spaces and optimize the loads following an economic criterion and the guidelines.
5-Provide support in relation to the maritime product to the commercial department.
6-Advise the commercial department at the level of offering prices to customers in relation to shipments Maritime.
7-Make quotes to the network (agents and offices) and prepare offers.
We are looking for a decisive person, with involvement, customer orientation, capacity for teamwork, proactive, with initiative and with the capacity for organization and planning.
Essential:
- Training in Logistics or International Trade.
- High English.
- Office Package domain.
