With company headquarters in New York, this is a remote contractor position for applicants residing in the United States of America.

**Responsibilities**:

- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on the healthcare industry, focusing on cybersecurity challenges, trends, and best practices. Stay updated on the latest technologies and regulations affecting healthcare data security.
- Understanding Hospital Environments: Engage with healthcare professionals, including doctors, IT staff, and hospital administrators, to gain a comprehensive understanding of their working environments, cyber attack scenarios, and behavioral patterns during crises.
- Stakeholder Communication: Conduct interviews and engage with doctors, IT staff, and other stakeholders to identify challenges, opportunities, and pain points. Maintain open and effective communication channels to gather feedback and ensure alignment with user needs.
- Documentation: Thoroughly document all research findings, product requirements, and workflow designs. Create detailed reports and presentations to share insights with the team and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Solid Understanding: Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare technology, EHR systems (such as Epic, Cerner), and cybersecurity practices within the healthcare sector.
- Research Skills: Proven ability to conduct comprehensive market and user research, including engaging with healthcare professionals and synthesizing insights.
- Product Management: Experience in defining product requirements, roadmaps, and collaborating with development teams.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including doctors, IT staff, and executives.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges effectively.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to evolving healthcare and cybersecurity landscapes.
- Passion: A passion for improving patient care and ensuring the continuity of healthcare services even in challenging scenarios.
- Self-Starter: You possess the innate ability to take the initiative and dive into tasks without waiting for direction. Your proactive nature means you're always one step ahead, identifying challenges and opportunities, and addressing them before they become issues.
