YOUR CHALLENGES IN THIS ROLE
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the delivery and oversight of Principal Greyspace, Whitespace & Technology Infrastructure projects across all Data Centre disciplines within Portugal and, potentially, wider Europe locations.

Additionally, the Senior Project Manager supports and manages all client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and project leader to grow the business relationship and projects offering within Data Centre Solutions. Working closely with the in-regional BUD, you will have responsibility for Business Development & Marketing the Greyspace, Whitespace & Technology Projects Business.

The Senior Project Manager will ensure alignment between the account organisation and other departments within DCS to maximize value creation and ensure excellence in project delivery by providing direction and oversight to enable business unit and account teams to positively contribute and comprehensively manage the fulfilment of our commitment to the client.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**_ Project Delivery_**
- Build and lead Greyspace, Whitespace & TI delivery teams in the safe, timely and quality delivery of projects
- Ensure Greyspace, Whitespace & TI delivery teams are organised and set-up correctly to ensure delivery on time and within the financial requirements and margins as specified by the business
- Ensure that Greyspace, Whitespace & TI are organised and set-up correctly to adhere to and are managed to commercial agreements / contracts. They must comply with statutory regulations, are QHSE compliant and meet technical industry standards
- Take full ownership of the project lifecycle for Greyspace, Whitespace & TI under your control, including providing the necessary support, oversight, management & leadership to ensure successful delivery and handover
- Be the Project Manager for specific Greyspace, Whitespace & TI projects, particularly in Portugal but potentially in wider Europe locations, building the delivery team as required, ensuring the necessary resources are in place and the project is organised and set-up for success

**_Business Development & Marketing_**
- Report on all major DC developments in region ensuring the senior management team are fully informed of all potential opportunities in the market
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in all major DC’s in region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our existing client base
- Drive growth in the Projects Business by maintaining a strong pipeline for Greyspace, Whitespace & TI projects
- Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities and in delivering contractual commitments on secured projects
- Delivering effective business communication and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate
- Supporting the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings
- Acts as an expert in DCS business, culture and strategy by pro-actively contributing to the improvement of the DCS business
- Develop and manage all Portugal project bids, tenders and proposals in conjunction with the Europe QS team

**_Management, Planning & Value Creation_**
- To ensure projects are delivered to completion on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties, expectations to be exceeded wherever possible
- To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project
- Build individual relationships with industry manufacturers & distributors
- Ensure compliance with CBRE project management policies and procedures
- Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both CBRE and sub-contractor activities and are regularly review on every project. This will include the timely delivery of a Health and Safety file for the works and full compliance with local regulations
