The Digital Commerce Specialist Portugal will drive the Digital eCommerce vision and strategy working closely with the Digital team, will engage the organization towards online commerce, design and implement the 6Ps plan and will manage the Portuguese customers to achieve online sales and profit targets.
JOB PURPOSE:
- Define the eCommerce vision & strategy and must win battles.
- Define priorities for B&M and Pure Play customers building and implementing insight-based 6Ps plans.
- Manage the P&L for the eCommerce, achieving eRetailers Sales Targets, delivering on short term and long term plans. Define the growth forecasts & KPIs, allocate budget and resources required to win.
- Define eJBP customer targets and manage the negotiation, execution and tracking of the plans. Responsible for the direct management of the Pure Plays by taking a leading role in customer engagement (top to top and business reviews).
- Partner with CDT and with the Digital Specialist to embed eCommerce targets into the wider B&M customer’s objectives. Deliver Digital Shelf Excellence within retailers
- Establish strategic customer relationships through analytics, insights, eRCD to enable CP to be the supplier of choice for retailers’ eCommerce, and strengthen the CP online path to purchase.
KEY TASKS:
- Deploy data and insights to identify opportunities to grow our brands with shoppers across all priority occasions. Establish a data driven decision mindset and capture relevant data points across the partners, customers, agencies, and CP ecosystems.
- Identify & shape the right & ‘power’ portfolio for eCom & help to shape future new bundles development
- Maximize online sales performance through effective fundamentals execution, advertising campaigns, eRetailers audits, promotional activity. Build eCom Adv and search campaigns to drive traffic and improve product visibility, ensuring tracking.
- Be the expert on the eCommerce channel, identifies key digital & business trends to shape the evolution of eGrocery & Pure Play eCom channels. Evaluate incremental business opportunities and new distribution models.
- Manage output and projects of reports to develop their capabilities and enable them to progress to other roles within the business. Assign projects, responsibilities and tasks to the Omni-merchandisers and manage outputs.
- Develop e-commerce platforms, and technology providers,........ (like Profitero, SImilarweb and other tools).
- Stay update with digital commerce trends, emerging technologies and tools to ensure competitiveness in the market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end shopper journey across all digital channels
EDUCATION AND FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum Educational Level: Degree, preferably with specialization in Digital Disciplines
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Digital Commerce roles
- English and Portuguese language proficiency level
- Fully abreast of trends and innovations in eCommerce & Digital
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, strong international mindset
- Strong project and change management skill,
- Ability to lead through influencing in a highly matrixed and international organization
- Capability to work under pressure managing ambiguity with positive attitude
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, though never losing the big picture out of sight
- Can-do attitude, solution-oriented, agile, result-driven & always seeking for new opportunities
