**Logistics Manager**

**Position purpose**:
In this position, all activity is related to Logistics function. As Logistics Manager you will oversee the market optimum supply at minor cost. You will also ensure correctness and integrity of data projections and reporting. You will cooperate with other team members of Iberia Logistics cluster, including serving as backup. The position requires the follow-up of any logistics daily activity, including stocks control, related to your areas of responsibility, acting as point of contact between markets and Global Supply Chain. It also requires close cooperation with Marketing and other functions within the Company in the implementation of projects as well as cooperation from a proactive perspective within Logistics function in process improvement focused on maximizing value added to business.

**What you will do - responsibilities**:
**Demand planning**:

- Calculate, check and validate purchase orders based on sales estimations and within the frame of the contracts with distributors.
- Be responsible for calculation and reporting via Global tools of monthly market demand by product, which includes preparation of estimation of different scenarios of production and shipment forecast needed for market financial reporting

**Daily control of stocks**:

- Monitor shipments on a daily basis to ensure that they are performed in line with shipment plans.
- Propose variations to adjust stocks to market demand needs
- Solve incidences related to daily Logistics activity
- Dedicate especially to stock control (FG-Finished goods and NTMs-Non Tobacco materials) in view of implementation of packaging change projects, closely monitor FG and NTMs stocks and report on current issues and propose corrective measures
- Cooperate in minimizing product write-offs by measures to control inventory levels and product ageing

**Other**:

- Actively participate in market projects in close cooperation with other functions
- Manage incidences related to Track & Trace in deliveries to distributors
- Manage invoicing to customers and other transactions via SAP including purchase orders linked to Logistics activity
- Analyze processes of the department and propose changes
- Back up other colleagues (as specified in available "Logistics Back-Up Matrix")
- Perform any other tasks given by the line manager

**Who are we looking for - requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience as Demand Planner/Customer Services in multinational environment
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Portuguese is a significant advantage (in understanding documents, local legislation etc.)
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- MS Office user (a high Excel level is required)
- SAP knowledge (preferable in Forecast-to-Stock, Order-to-Cash) is required
- Soft skills such as initiative-taking, accountability, challenging status quo to seek improvement, quality relationship-building
