**QHSE Manager - Lisbon**

As QHSE Manager you will report hierarchically to the Country Manager with a functional link to the matrix QHSE organization. You will be in charge to supervise the QHSE organization at country level, and organize & train all Newrest staff to improve constantly the QHSE level, and ensure compliance with group standards & customers’ requirements.

**MISSIONS**:

- Manage a Portugal QHSE team in order to ensure the implementation and maintaining of internal standards, ISO 9001, HACCP and Health & Safety systems and procedures;
- Support the operational teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal non-negotiables & clients’ standards;
- Participate to the implementation of a strong culture in Quality, Health & Safety and Environment for the company and the employees;
- Organize and follow up staff training and lead the shopfloor to meet the training objectives & rise the QHSE culture in the day-to-day operations;
- Review all internal and external audit reports to ensure that the rules of the company and customers are properly and efficiently implemented;
- Provide monthly reporting of results achieved against QHSE Key Performance Indicators and evaluate achievement in order to implement associated corrective actions to drive continuous improvement;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of criteria for suppliers’ selection and audit;
- Manage quality complaints (root cause investigation process & report):

- Lead investigations in case of food poisoning or other illness / injury of staff (incidents/accidents).

**PROFILE**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position in **food production industry**
- Bachelor / Master degree in Food Safety / Quality and Safety related fields with solid knowledge of **HACCP practical implementation**
- Trainers certificate
- Master the requirements of **ISO 9001 and ISO 22000**
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office pack;
- English is a must

**CONTRACT**: Long term contract - Ideal starting date = March 1st
