**About the role**
- Our VAT & Tax team is composed of 7 people, and is integrated in the Finance department, being focused on VAT and Indirect Tax.
- As a VAT & Tax Trainee, you will work in a multinational environment and you will get the opportunity to contribute to the compliance of Solvay Group.
- You will be accountable for:

- Manage/support with VAT corrections
- Check VAT invoice requirements;
- Support on the preparation and Filing of VAT, Intrastat returns and EC-Sales Lists (Europe);
- Support on VAT audits (internal and external)
- Support on the reconciliation of VAT accounts
- We offer a 12 months Internship contract based on hybrid working mode

**About you**
- Relevant education degree in Accounting, Tax, Economics, Finance Tax Specialization, or equivalent.
- Competencies:

- Fluency in English (any other language would be a plus)
- Good communication skills
- Behaviors:

- Team spirit
- Proactivity

**About the pay and benefits**
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. Portugal's base pay range for this role is 940 EUR up to 1040 EUR a month, based on your academic background.
