Senior Buyer

Responsible for procurement (direct or indirect materials and services) at regional level with the aim of aligning the purchasing function in line with the corporate strategy and setting it up for the future.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Implementation of the group procurement strategy and its derived local procurement strategy for the relevant categories and region, tracking the defined targets and KPIs;
- Regular monitoring of procurement markets and networks to identify efficient and innovative suppliers;
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers of the respective categories;
- Ensuring the strategic flow of information between purchasing, internal stakeholders, business responsibilities and suppliers
- Implementation of the local source-to-pay activities in compliance with the defined group processes, master data, tools and methods;
- Support in ensuring strategic KPI reporting for the associated category in coordination with the corresponding local Purchasing Manager. Regularly performance and cost reporting;

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**:

- Higher education completed;
- Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in similar functions, preferably in an industrial context;
- Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures;
- Knowledge of SAP C11 and MS Office;
- Practical Training of Buyers (preferably);
- Fluency in English (minimum level B2);
- Proactive and dynamic profile;
- Good interpersonal skills.
