The Global Acceleration Office Deputy** **department** **is looking for a Head Global Acceleration Office.

**What you will do**:

- Develop transformation strategy: The head of the GAO is responsible for developing a clear and comprehensive strategy for continue transforming the organization. This involves continuously conducting a thorough analysis of the current state of the organization, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing a roadmap for achieving transformation goals
- Accelerate and drive company-wide strategic and transversal transformation initiatives: The head of the GAO leads the implementation of transformation initiatives across the organization - critically challenging potential to deliver more and execute faster. This involves working closely with Leadership Team, department heads and stakeholders to ensure that transformation initiatives are aligned with overall business goals and are executed effectively. The Head of the GAO also holds accountability for the different daily actions and initiatives that underlie any of the programs managed and has responsibility for making the day-to-day decisions;
- Manage change: The head of the GAO is responsible for managing the change process associated with transformation initiatives - coaching teams in new ways of working, methodologies and cultural change. This involves developing a comprehensive change management plan, communicating with stakeholders about changes, fostering company-wide collaboration, and providing support and resources to employees as they adjust to new processes and ways of working;
- Monitor progress: The head of the GAO tracks the progress of transformation initiatives, identifying areas where additional support or resources may be needed. This includes analyzing data and feedback from employees and other stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives. It also entails having the ability to strike the right balance between short-term improvement and long-term value, and between making sure stakeholders take responsibility for change and personally ensuring they deliver results quickly and with suitably high ambition. Also requires deciding on tradeoffs and escalating decisions to CEO and other Leadership Team members as needed;
- Cultivate a culture of innovation: The head of the GAO is responsible for fostering a culture of innovation within the organization. This involves encouraging employees to take risks, experiment with new approaches, and collaborate across departments to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement;
- Consolidate group-wide initiatives: The Head of the GAO has a global vision of all initiatives carried out across regions/platforms/BEFs/GBS of EDP Group and establishes the link with key stakeholders, to capture synergies and ensures there are no overlaps;
- Collaborate with senior leadership: The head of the GAO works closely with the CEO and other members of the Leadership Team to align transformation efforts with overall business strategies and to ensure that transformation initiatives are prioritized appropriately, quickly removing roadblocks and resource constraints to deliver on the organization's Business Plan
- Team Development: The Head of the GAO will manage a team of high performers who will drive transformation efforts at EDP (e.g. set goals, objectives and responsibilities, define performance indicators, evaluate results and motivate). The team needs to be resilient and have impact orientation and forward thinking capabilities, challenging them to reach full potential;
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and represent EDP: The head of the GAO stays informed about energy sector trends and best practices related to transformation. This includes attending conferences, networking with other industry professionals, and keeping up-to-date with the latest research and developments;
- Department budget: Define the budget for expenses and investments for the Global Acceleration Office and ensure its achievement aligning the objectives with EDP Group's objectives
