**Objectives**
Opportunity of being an active driver of our journey to our ultimate goal of “Accuracy and Quality of Arval’s Portugal Financial Statement Data”.

**Responsibilities**

Work in Accounting department at Arval Portugal, support the correctness of the daily bookings according to the Local Accounting Standards (SNC) and, simultaneously, Group Accounting Standards (IFRS).

Critical thinking, willing to challenge and promote efficiencies to the current working processes, according to Arval Portugal strategy.

**Your day-to-day activities**

Accounting:

- Analysis, classification and booking of documents according to Portuguese Accounting Standards (SNC);
- Fulfilment and delivery of Tax Declarations (IRC, IVA, Mod.30,) and other documentations, in accordance with current legislation;
- Analysis, checking and booking of movements related with payments, receivables and other financial operations, performing the necessary controls;
- Issuance of payment orders;
- Preparation of bank reconciliations;
- Monthly reconciliation of current Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts;
- Preparation of Financial Statements;
- Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closing tasks;
- Support the annual auditing works providing the necessary documentations and clarifications to auditors;
- Contact with suppliers;
- Issuance of manual invoices and credit notes.

**Your profile**
- Degree in Accounting (preferably ISCA);
- Recently graduated or experience up to 2 years (preferably in a multinational environment);
- Analytical skills, establish facts between figures and accounting schemes;
- Open, team player, curious, enthusiastic, eager to learn;
- Interest in Accounting and Tax topics;
- Good knowledge in Office tools (Excel);
- Fluent in English.
