We are growing our consulting team and looking for Senior Data & Analytics Consultants to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family.
In this role you will be providing bespoke and cutting-edge advanced analytics solutions, bringing significant commercial advantage to some of the UK's most recognised companies.
**The main areas of responsibility are**:
- Advising clients on the best practices and deliver capabilities in analytics on time and to budget
- Capture client requirements and run workshops
- Model data to develop an effective intelligence solutions
- Design and develop data platform and analytics solutions
- Implement solutions using best practices for the management and transformation of data
- Design and develop effective reports and dashboards to present information in a clear and informative manner
- Mentoring more junior consultants
**Qualifications**
- Relevant degree would be desirable in Data Science, Analytics, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- Fluency in English both written and oral
- Experience in client facing activities
- Strong presentation/communication/facilitation skills (oral and written)
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools
- Knowledge of Azure Data Platform and SQL Server
- Ensure Architectural standards are followed
- Ability to model and transform data, build ETL solutions and present data in a useful business context
- Experience developing data warehouses & data marts using the Kimball methodology
- Knowledge of programming languages e.g. T-SQL, Python, DAX/M, C#, R
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Collaborate with and coach other junior data engineers and analysts
- Ability to effectively collaborate with other engineers as well as internal/external stakeholders
- Good organisational skills
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- A strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Ability to work independently
- Availability to travel on client site, including abroad
- A demonstrable passion for data, analytics & technology
- French or German speaking (Desirable)
