We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Program Purchasing Inflators Team in Ponte de Lima, Portugal

**Main accountabilities, responsabilities and deliverables**:

- Manage programs (purchasing interface for PM, Engineering, Production and Sales manufacturing, cross functional support);
- Support Commodity in negotiation for annual contracts (e.g. consignment warehouse contracts);
- Ensure capacities of suppliers, support short-, medium
- and long-term capacity management;
- Execute and track orders for sample parts and tools, monitoring delivery and termination dates;
- Develop, coordinate, and implement part family strategies together with the relevant commodities;
- Initiate risk assessments and participate in technical reviews, escalation processes, etc;
- Identify and track savings and improvement potential e.g. VA/VE and BOM (Bill Of Material) management;
- Create product calculations;
- Establish solid interface to commodities for exchanging all relevant information.

**Required skills and experience / main competences**:

- Technical or Economic Studies - University of Applied Sciences (engineering or industrial engineering), Business Management with technical background or Technical Diploma in Business Administration;
- Well-founded technical understanding about products and processes;
- Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, flexibility, ability to work in an international team and decision oriented;
- Fluent in English and Portuguese language;
- Knowledge in SAP and German is preferred.
