Senior Manager Product Ownership

General Purpose
The purpose of the S&P Supply Chain products team is to enable operational excellence for Supply Chain Management processes and systems, covering global SCM (and adjacent) functions, as well as market SCM teams. The key objectives of the role are:
- Be accountable for the product success considering the value for the consumer and the company (ROI).
- Specify the product vision and roadmap as well as user stories considering the value for the user community and the company.
- Be accountable for product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates.
- Identify and solve dependencies with other product owners to ensure efficient delivery. Coordinate interfaces between different product teams.
- Be accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product.
- As a Senior Manager Product Ownership at S&P SCM Products, you are responsible for a defined set of digital (sub)products. Together with your agile team(s) you work on continuously improving and evolving the product in order to maximize the value for all internals customers.- Key Responsibilities
Scope: Within the Product Supply - Supply Planning product, you will be responsible for one of our sub-prducts.- Product Strategy & Delivery

- Be accountable for product delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates.
- Identify and solve dependencies with other product owners to ensure efficient delivery. Coordinate interfaces between different product teams.
- Be accountable for monitoring, optimization and enhancement of the configuration, features and functionalities related to the product.
- Stakeholder Management
- Represent the business for the (sub) product, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that their views and requirements are captured in the product backlog.
- Promote team priorities and exercise influence with stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for optimization or improvement, prioritize according to business impacts and support team to drive change
- Develop functional relationships with key internal and 3rd party partners and govern meeting of KPIs
- Ensure industry standards and best practices are implemented, and evolve partnerships as needed
- Partner with internal counterparts in assessment of new vendors/partners
- Backlog Management
- Prioritize the items in your product backlog. Specify the definition-of-done in cooperation with the product team(s).
- Own the refinement of your product backlog to ensure that the product team(s) is/are delivering the right enhancements to drive consumer and business value.
- Provide acceptance for delivered backlog items by the team, in line with the definition-of-done.
- People Management
- Create a supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate team workload and organizational efficiency with the support of data and team feedback and make appropriate changes in order to meet business needs.
- Provide team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets that are aligned with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Data Ownership
- Drive alignment of strategy and roadmap across SCM stakeholder groups - closely working with group data management
- Drive the cleanup of reference data, the prioritization of change to the data model and implementation of adequate measures ensuring data quality across creation area.
- Defining & Building effective Product Supply primary data management, migration and maintenance processes

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills
- Supply Chain Planning Expert level domain knowledge
- Proven experience Primary Data Management in complex ERP environments
- Proven experience as key user / product owner w/ Enterprise Supply Chain Planning systems (SAP APO/IBP or similar)
- Basic leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills and facilitation skills especially when interacting with different levels of business
- Pro
- active mindset, proven ability to think end-to-end supply chain
- Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Requisite Education and Qualifications:
- University degree in business administration or Supply Chain Management
- 8+ years of experience working in Supply Chain / IT
- Experience as a Expert User / Product Owner in at Supply Chain Planning
- Experience in working with stakeholders and expert
