**About the company**

A Louisiana-inspired bar located in the Sao Bento neighborhood of Lisbon. This boutique bar brings the unique style and taste of New Orleans while taking you on a journey through the mysterious Louisiana bayous. Enjoy the cocktails, wine, and delicious food - stay for the southern charm.

**Role and Responsibilities**

We are currently looking for Bartenders to join our small (but mighty) team

This role will be responsible for
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar guests;
- Friendly interaction with customers, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks;
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations;
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails;
- Help plan the bar/cocktail menu;
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed;
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience;
- Help maintain clean restrooms and stock appropriately as needed;
- Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area;
- Attends to the detail and presentation of each order;
- Prepares and maintains ingredients as necessary;
- Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
- Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.
- Ensures smooth operation of bar services;
- Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
- Assists with orienting new employees to their work area.
- Listens to customer complaints and suggestions and resolves complaints.
- Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.

About you
- Previous experience in similar roles preferred;
- Keeping high standards and customer service focused;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Fluent in English is required (multiple languages preferred)
- Professionalism and pleasant attitude;
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Cleanliness and presentable at all times;
- Team player and positivity;
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean;
- Knowledge of wines is a plus;
**Work Hours/ Compensation**

Wednesday - Saturday 5pm - 2am

Additional monthly events on Tuesdays may be required
