Job Description

Euronext is seeking a Data Steward - Trainee to develop and administer enterprise data governance and metadata management activities, supporting adoption of good data management practices across the organization. To provide an active contribution to improvements in metadata management. Data lineage is the process of understanding, recording, and visualizing data as it flows from data sources to consumption. This includes all transformations the data underwent along the way—how the data was transformed, what changed, and why.

Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of a business glossary that is aligned to physical data assets and for the definition and maintenance of the data landscape including end-to-end data flows/transformations and data lineage.
- Collaborating across the business to gather business terms for understanding, collecting definitions and maintaining them in the enterprise business glossary.
- Maintain proper data lineage, user interactions, transformations along the data pipeline.
- Focus on the automation to bring and improve productivity and to reduce time-consuming manual tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- BS/MS degree
- Knowledge and experience using SQL (plus)
- Fluency in English
- Ability to self-organise, work independently, show initiative, and problem solve in a timely manner
- Communication, organizational and relationship skills
- Pro-active attitude with ability to work in a fast changing and demanding environment
- Strong capacity of teamwork
