Accounting & Tax Specialist

MISSION
Ensure an accurate, reliable and timely financial reporting as well as compliance with tax obligations.
MAIN ATTRIBUTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process accounting transactions, namely invoices, expenses reports and other documents;
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions;
- Prepare the accounting closure and perform month-end and year-end close process;
- Support the audit process (internal or external), providing information and clarification;
- Prepare and submit the mandatory tax declarations and prepare tax returns;
- Prepare information for the purpose of external reporting of information and inquiries;
- Establish communication with other departments, local affiliates partners and external entities, attending in accounting and tax matters;
- Participate in transversal processes and setup of new operations / projects, in accounting and tax matters, promoting the best possible solution in an end-to-end perspective;
- Continuously look for improvements with new methods and tools to improve the efficiency of Group’s activities;
- Comply with the Quality, Environmental and R&D, Health and Safety Policies and Standards and Procedure.
PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND FACTORS
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or similar;
- Analytical thinking, Ownership and accountability
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Flexible and able to deliver results under tight deadlines;
- ERP and MS Office skills;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
