- BNP Paribas’ Capital Markets department offers advisory services for corporates across both debt and equity products. The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in London originates and executes IPOs, rights issues, equity placements and equity-linked products for clients in the UK & Ireland, Germany-Austria-Switzerland, Nordic region, Netherlands & Belgium, Spain, Portugal & Italy

**Your Main Activities Are**
- The trainee will be based in Lisbon within the Lisbon Capital Markets team and provide support to the EMEA Equity Capital Markets team for the duration of the trainee programme. Tasks can include (but not limited to):
- Maintaining on a weekly basis:
- Macro-economic / equity capital market conditions slides
Credentials slides
Weekly meeting materials (for weekly ECM meetings)
Maintaining the ECM workspace, in particular the precedent materials library- On a running basis:
- Support with the “ECM deal database”
Tracking Low Carbon Transition Group relevant deals
Tracking financial sponsor relevant transactions
Supporting the ECM COO office with various reporting obligations internally
Running the “investor database project”- On an ad-hoc basis:
- Other data analytical initiatives as they arise (typically related to ECM transactions and league tables)
Other non-transactional presentation support**Profile** and Skills to Success**
- Bachelor Degree in Economics / Finance or related
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Organisational skills
- Ability to collaborate / teamwork
- Communication skills, both written and oral
- Creativity and innovation / problem solving
- Proactivity
