** Your Role **:As an Accounting & Controlling Specialist (M/F/D), you will manage all financial aspects in line with Kuehne+Nagel Financial Accounting Policies. You will ensure timeliness and accuracy in financial reporting and maintenance of internal controls. You will partner with business and functional units to drive profitability and productivity and improve processes. You will be the single point of contact for Portugal’s financial matters and will be in close contact with the Iberian Finance cluster.
** Your Responsibilities**:

- Provide financial guidance and governance to Portugal's Business Units;
- Responsible for the local statutory accounts;
- Act as the single point of contact for local authorities, auditors, and the statistical office;
- Monitor and analyze P/L statements to avoid deviations;
- Control the balance sheets, accruals, and provisions in collaboration with the Iberian Finance cluster;
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting;
- Support in the coordination of all financial activities between internal stakeholders.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field;
- Professional certification (TOC/Contabilista Certificado);
- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in Controlling, Accounting, or a similar role, preferably within Logistics/Transportation;
- In-depth knowledge of Portugal's accounting legislation;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish fluency is a plus.
