**About the job**

***We are looking for a key leader for our Engineering team.

You will have the responsibility of implement our Engineering Strategy in alignment with our Business Strategy and Management of our Engineering Squads.

You will be working closely with all the Business and Engineering teams and also with the internal and external providers with the objective to implement the best technological solution and meet our costumers’ expectations.

Are you ready to create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance and also the WTX Engineering strategy? ????

**You will be responsible for**:

- Lead and Manage the engineering teams providing them support from the tech perspective. Being responsible for the plan, execution and implementation of the projects, acting as a decision maker.
- Champion the quality of the technological products created by WTX.
- Establish, measure and enforce performance metrics for the Engineering teams.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams as well as management and execution of the product development projects (delivery commitments and the project plans).
- Manage and coach the Engineering team members, mentoring them and be responsible for their growth and development. Being also part of the performance reviews.
- Create and develop strategic plans regarding the tech software development and establish the business’s tech vision
- Collaborate with the internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Business Development, Product and Operations to ensure the product success.
- Oversees the strategic deployment of the resources leading to optimal resource allocation and the smooth and successful development of software products.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, ensuring that they are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Promote knowledge exchange across our Engineering teams.
- Suggest improvements within the projects and procedures and be the owner of that implementation.
- Be accountable for all the development lifecycle.
- Be also part of the recruitment process, setting up the teams.
- Be an advocate of WTX culture and promote it.

**To ensure your success, you’ll need**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT management or leadership roles, with a strong track record of delivering successful technology projects and initiatives.
- Working experience in Product company environment.
- Experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that support business goals and objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Be a strategic thinker and be available to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
