**About the team**:
The Web Summit creative team is responsible for the overall art direction and brand management of the company and the events portfolio. This innovative team works on anything and everything that needs a creative touch, including identity creation for a portfolio of brands, and for our events that take place around the world; and identity creation and marketing collateral for a number of stages. The team also aids the product team in producing creative assets for websites, apps, ads and much more.

Whether it’s web, print, video, motion graphics or stage design, this team is tasked with generating fresh ideas that inspire and engage our attendees, partners and clients.

**What you'll achieve at Web Summit**:

- You’ll take ownership of Web Summit’s library of video content.
- You’ll assemble video content for our websites, advertisements and social media.
- You’ll develop projects from concept, presentation, planning, execution, and release.
- You’ll edit video packages to push out to third-party companies globally.
- You’ll help plan and manage live broadcasts during our events all across the world.
- You’ll rise to challenging briefs and work closely with our content, advertising, and live events teams to develop engaging video content.
- You’ll be listened to - no matter how crazy your ideas seem

**Who you are**:

- You can follow detailed content briefs as well as develop unique concepts for video and motion graphics, and execute them to a high standard.
- You can work alongside a team, taking ideas and suggestions, but are also capable of creating engaging content by yourself.
- You’re an excellent communicator, with an eye for detail.
- You have a strong interest in film, television and the world of technology, but you're not just a video editor - you're a creative marketer.
- You understand the importance of testing different creative thoughts and ideas.
- You base your decisions on results and are able to test ideas and iterate quickly.
- You have expert understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro, a strong knowledge of After Effects, and are familiar with the full Adobe Suite; Photoshop, Media Encoder, etc.
- You’re invested in creating captivating content, and finding new ways to engage your audience and capture their interest.

**Skills and abilities we're looking for**:

- Strong Premiere Pro skills, assembling video packages, ads, and trailers according to briefs.
- Intermediate skills in After Effects, building basic projects and modifying existing motion graphic templates.
- Colour grade abilities desired but not essential.
- Knowledge of video codecs and file types.
- Ability to work in both a controlled professional environment and high-paced, live-event scenarios with quick turnarounds.
- Assembling video content according to briefs and liaising with stakeholders from various teams within the company.
- Ability to script/storyboard and develop video concepts, and pitch them to internal stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly over chat and video calls as well as in-person.
- Certification in multimedia, advertising, or a related field is a bonus, but not required.
- 2+ years’ experience working to strict deadlines in video editing or production.
- Desire to be part of a fast-paced and varied business environment where flexibility is a must and direction can change quickly.
