**THE ROLE**
Reporting to Performance & Optimization Manager, as a Business Analyst you will work within the Operations Strategy team embracing Operations P&L performance (monitor and forecast), supporting the continued evolution of strategy and scenario planning. You will be responsible for digging into great granularity in each area to support forecast accuracy and performance review, understanding root causes and new patterns. In your role, you will have a great connection with the business to monitor the performance and to do ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision making.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- **Run the mid
- and long-term planning cycles **such as 3Y plan**, **budget and reforecast for Operations P&L lines (eg. shipping & returns, duties, packaging, payment processing costs) in alignment with different platform BU strategies and roadmap, interacting and managing different stakeholders, within and outside operations;
- Continuous improvement of **financial modeling** and **short-term predictability** minimizing variances against the rolling forecast, work with data to identify main key insights to reach better solutions for financial modeling and forward forecast;
- **Portfolio performance monitoring**:Understand and follow up operations´ initiatives portfolio in order to consolidate and track the value of all initiatives being developed (budgeted saving vs actual saving once projects are live);
- ** Performance monitoring**: Create the right reporting and routines in the business to follow up and discuss performance, highlighting discrepancies and risks against the plan, identifying root causes and providing recommendations to get back on track in a collaborative way. Create and communicate dashboards in data visualization tools such as Looker;
- **Support projects and decision-making process**:explore insights from data to provide trade-off analysis and scenario simulations towards data driven decision-making and operations projects development.
WHO YOU ARE
- Graduated in economics, management or engineering or any other related field that includes a strong analytical focus.
- 2+ years of experience in related fields such as Business Analytics, FP&A or consultancy;
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, having the ability to work with a large amount of data, analyzing patterns and proposing data-driven options/scenarios;
- Able to work with office tools (specially Excel with focus on pivot tables) and motivated to learn SQL/BQ and data visualization tools such as looker;
- Interested in building new tools and willing to improve the already existing ones showing creativity and critical thinking;
- Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
