SERVICING OPERATIONAL RISK OFFICER (JOB NUMBER: 2308RSK16049)

**About the job**
- Contribute to the implementation of Operational Risk and Permanent Control Framework in BNP Paribas activities, namely within Securities Services, by supervising 1st Line of Defense through the performance of LoD2 Controls, quality review of Historical Incidents and Reporting

**Your Main Activities Are**
- LoD2 Controls:

- Support definition and deployment of 2nd Line of Defense control plan: define on which areas, processes or topics testing should be rolled out
- Challenge business lines mainly by the execution of LoD2 controls and independent challenge and opinion on the effectiveness of the control framework
- Support in the definition of remediation actions in collaboration with the 1st Line of Defense and consequent formalisation of Action Plans based on the control results
- Historical incidents: Perform the quality review of historical incidents which impacted the businesses - challenge incidents description and remediation plans
- Reporting: Contribute to the production of dashboards and reports on LoD2 Control results, Historical Incidents and other metrics
- Contribute to Operational Risk awareness across BNP Paribas Portugal Securities Services teams
- Communicate, alert and escalate any attention point to the RISK ORM 2S teams
- Focus on harmonization, improvement and automation of the processes controlled: propose suggestions of change and participate or lead, when required, in the innovation projects developed within the team
- Work in direct strong coordination with RISK ORM 2S RISK Management and 1st Line of Defense teams
- Contribute to RISK ORC initiatives (e.g. projects) or to Generic responses for the clients and prospects requests

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Masters Degree in Economics / Finance and/or Accounting
- At least 2 years of experience in Banking / Operations and/or Risk and Controls
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge in MS Office Pack
- Ability to collaborate / teamwork
- Ability to synthetize / simplify
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Client focused
- Critical thinking
