**Role Overview**

The main role will be to provide support to the colleagues as well as advice and guidance on a wide range of procurement issues in line with Internal Procurement Procedures and Procurement laws.

The role will be critical in the delivery of day-to day procurement activities of the organisation.

**Position**: Procurement Assistant (Purchase & Travel)

**Location**:Porto, Portugal

**Key Responsibilities**

Purchase of goods, equipment and services, aligned with internal and applicable procedures, including:

- Conduct market consultation to obtain quotations
- Assist with managing the administrative process throughout the duration of the preparation of all documentation until the award of the contract
- Provide purchased materials to the responsible receiving person and do all actions for completing the process
- Maintain appropriated records to ensure that procurement process, decision, and contractual agreement are accurately documented for accountability, funding and audit purposes
- Perform other duties related with the above responsibilities, as assigned by supervisor

Book travel arrangements in accordance with internal procedures and legal requirements

**Academic Qualifications**
- Minimum Qualifications: Level 4 - national qualifications framework (12º or equivalent) ( _Portaria n.º_
- 782/2009 de 23 de junho_)

**Experience and skills required**
- Preferably with prior experience in the purchasing sector/department or related role
- Experience with customs’ clearance is a plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams
