LABELEC's Qualification and Inspection Area, whose mission is to develop qualification and inspection activities to optimize the acquisition of equipment (costs and quality) and provide services to Labelec's clients, is looking to hire for its **Smart Grid Laboratory, SmartLab/Digital Grid**.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Actively collaborating in the monitoring of projects relating to smart grids and distributed automation, supporting the development and testing of multi-technological solutions and systems, electrical and communications equipment to be integrated into the electricity grid;
- Performing functional tests, validating communication and cybersecurity protocols for smart grid equipment, namely smart meters, modems, routers, energy storage systems, home automation and electric mobility;
- Validating interoperability between equipment from different vendors.
- Calibration of energy, power, voltage and current measuring equipment***

**Looking for people with the following requirements**:

- Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering;
- Professional experience of up to 3 years;
- Enjoy programming;
- Proficiency in English;
- Driving license and availability for occasional travel;
- Analytical ability, rigor, attention to detail and team-work spirit are characteristics we value.
