**Job Description**:
**EURAM Learning & Development Director, Animal Health**

The Learning & Development Lead EURAM will be primarily responsible for shaping and delivering a range of Commercial skills interventions that will focus the Sales teams on delivering the highest standards of customer care through tailored product and solutions packages. The incumbent will lead a team of country and cluster L&D facilitators, tasked with the implementation of a range of learning and development interventions for the broad employee groups in the Region.

(S)he will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of sales force enablement trainings, partnering with local or Regional Technical Services leaders to ensure Product, Disease and technology is imbedded in sales training. Further, (s)he will facilitate leadership and first line manager development programs and will drive innovative learning platforms and technologies. (S)he will focus on innovative and modern learning methods to bring resources that support a multi-generational workforce and changing business landscape.

The postholder will report to the EURAM Regional Operations Lead, AVP and can be based anywhere in the Region where there is an office space.

**Responsibilities**:
**Commercial Skills facilitation**:
Working in alignment with the Head of Global L&D, Regional HR Lead and EURAM Commercial SVP in delivering the Divisional and Regional objectives, the postholder will:

- Shape and deliver a range of Commercial skills learning journey that focuses on our commercial priorities
- Working with Commercial Managers across the Region to accredit them as skilled trainers and educators, able to pass on the necessary knowledge and skills to their sales teams.
- Develop processes to monitor the implementation of the acquired skills in the field and to deliver corrective training interventions to re-focus activities where required.
- Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify current and future training and development needs for key roles and workforce segments
- Designing a strong onboarding programme for new hires and making sure delivery is happening with high quality and in the right frequency
- Align and support talent programmes in support of the EURAM Commercial Business strategy and build partnerships across all functions and business units with particular focus on BU Sales Leaders
- Support the design and development of L&D programs based on current and future organizational needs in alignment with the Divisional People and Business Strategy. (S)he will monitor and leverage performance results and recommend improvement opportunities as appropriate
- Prepare the annual Regional Learning Journey and Budget in alignment with the Global AH L&D strategy.
- Develop and measure metrics/KPI’s to evaluate program effectiveness and where possible the ROI of all learning and development programs
- Manage the EURAM L&D budget and cost center
- Coaching the EURAM L&D team so they continue to be best in class facilitators and change agents with a growth mindset

**Relational Leadership**:

- Partners with leaders at the Regional, cluster and large-market level as well as HRBPs to review the product skills development needs of the Commercial team and meet those needs with targeted and consistent skills development opportunities in line with the broad commercial strategy and budget requirements
- Coaches Learning Partners in addressing business managers around “best fit” learning strategies while adapting existing sources to meet unique local business requirements. Partners with HR to aligning talent programmes based on identified development needs and gaps to meet local business requirements
- Advises business leaders on the implications of short and long-term development strategies, and large-scale change efforts that will yield sustainable business results. The postholder will attend the Regional LT meeting in-person at least x2 per annum
- Supports the division / function learning leader in strategic business planning around learning and development and to communicate the groups’ performance needs to appropriate learning teams and works with HRBP to integrate learning paths into career architecture
- Supports the development and implementation of broad HR plans, programs, and tools to enhance organizational capabilities and skills in collaboration with HRBPs and other key stakeholders.
