We’re looking for a content editor to create search-optimized written content in our Lisbon office. In this role, you will get a chance to work with our awesome search experience and content team to define our content marketing strategy. If you’re someone who is dedicated to creating brilliant, word-perfect, engaging content, we’d love to meet you
**Your new adventure**:
- Create short
- and long-form content to improve our website and digital presence
- Edit content to ensure it meets the needs of our organic growth strategy and matches our style guidelines
- Manage relationships with agencies, vendors and consultants and conduct vendor reviews
- Lead cross-departmental projects and delegate tasks
- Work with the search experience and content team to define Pipedrive’s content marketing strategy
- Collaborate with experts in the rest of the marketing and product teams
- Be partially responsible for developing our English-language market growth strategy
- Brief freelancers, contractors and internal teams to produce different content types
- Help to define content production processes across the whole marketing team
- Conduct interviews over video tools with customers, partners and clients
- Monitor and report on organic content performance to help Pipedrive grow
- Stay on the pulse of the latest sales and marketing trends to feed into our plans
- Scope out improvements to be made to tools, including our CMS, and help stress-test these ideas
- Identify ways to leverage our content across different channels and markets
**Does this sound like you?**:
- At least 5 years of experience in content marketing, including some time in an editing or senior writer role
- A brilliant English language expert who can beat the pace of AI tools to create great content
- A native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with word processing tools and CMS systems
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of content and copy formats, both short
- and long-form
- Proven experience in SEO
- Proficiency with search optimization tools like Semrush and Ahrefs
- The capability to optimize content for search
- An understanding of the metrics that signify good search performance
- An exceptional talent for writing top-of-class content
- A deep knowledge of grammatical rules in both US and UK English
- A familiarity with tone of voice documentation and writing for a target audience
- A strong can-do attitude, great communication skills, and openness to feedback
- A team player who can also work independently
- A goal-oriented mindset, great attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- A degree in English, marketing, journalism, or a related field
- Fluency in other languages is a plus, but top-tier English skills are the priority
