Plant Maintenance Manager

Position based in our food manufacturing site located in Mem Martins (Sintra)
**MISSION OF THE POSITION**:
Implement and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance plans defined for the manufacturing unit and production lines as well as coordinate planned engineering projects under the Cerealto policies of quality, hygiene and safety and promote a continuous improvement culture.
**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**
- Define, implement and coordinates preventive, predictive and curative maintenance, as well as spare parts storage.
- Ensures that inspections, approvals, and mandatory registrations are carried out.
- Participate in factory planning meetings for engineering projects and plant equipment maintenance.
- Manage the spare parts warehouse identifying and requesting mandatory stock replacement items, supervises warehouse stock level minimizing obsolete stock.
- Participates in accident investigations and in the definition of preventive, corrective actions or continuous improvement plans.
- Ensures available resources efficiency and effectiveness improvement, assuring it reaches standard quality Analyzes results and trends in order to propose and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Outsourcing contracts management
- Ensure facilities maintenance keeping them in safe operating conditions.
- Prepares annual department budget controlling its execution and correcting any possible deviations
- Promotes and maintains an appropriate working environment for the personal and professional development of the team
- Ensure the implementation of HACCP management system as indicated by Codex Alimentarius, ensuring correct hazards and risk analysis identification, implementation of preventive measures and control critical points correct definition and management.
- Ensure the implementation of the food quality and safety policies and procedures in all of our processes and products.
**MINIMUM EXPERIENCE**:
Required minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar position in industrial environment
Required experience in team management and multicultural environments
Preferred knowledge in **food industry**
Preferred knowledge in biscuits manufacturing technologies
