Hiscox Europe is currently hiring a project manager for its European Claims operations and change department. Our claims department has the mission to help our insureds in the moment of need, delivering our promise. Based in Lisbon, you will be working with our teams across Europe to design and implement innovative/digital solution.

How Will You Help Us?

As a project manager, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality solutions for our customers and optimizing our internal processes. You will work closely with the Europe Claims team to plan, execute, monitor, and control various projects related to claims handling, operations, technology, and innovation. You will also communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and ensure compliance with policies and standards. Your pragmatism, can-do attitude and adaptability will be key to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of claims-related projects within the Europe Claims team, ensuring alignment with other BUs and functions.- Coordinate and collaborate with project team members, stakeholders, sponsors, vendors, and other relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.-
- Monitor and report on project performance, progress, budget, scope, and benefits realization, using appropriate tools and techniques.- Communicate effectively and proactively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing, and tailor the message and style to the audience and situation.- Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and automation within the claims operations and technology domains.- Support the development and maintenance of the project portfolio and pipeline, and contribute to the strategic planning and resource allocation of the Europe Claims team.

What We Expect From You?- Experienced project managed in international context.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders across different functions and locations.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex and diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, such as agile, scrum, waterfall, etc.- Pragmatism and can-do attitude.- Solution oriented mindset.- Contribute with insight and technical improvements to the business.- 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role.- Exposure to Financial or Consulting Services.
