**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As an accounting technician, you will work in close collaboration with the financial director of Generix Group North America in order to carry out routine accounting actions on North American activities.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Enter supplier invoices, expense reports, bank transactions, etc;
- Enter customer invoices from the invoicing system;
- Ensure rigorous and clear classification of digital documents;
- Participate in the purchasing cycle, send supplier forms to be completed by new suppliers, control quotes, purchase orders and associated invoices;
- Assist the financial director in returning specific documents in response to audits and reviews, as well as tax audits;
- At the request of the financial director, prepare documentation for tax preparers;
- With the support of the Finance Director, file Canadian and American sales tax returns;
- Perform all other tasks at the request of financial management in relation to this role and according to the needs of the company.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Accounting degree;
- At least 2 years of experience in Accounting;
- Good Knowledge of Excel and Outlook (mandatory);
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, Sage X3, SX d’Everwin (is a plus);
- General knowledge of accounting principles IFRS (is a plus);
- Knowledge of American and Canadian rules and taxes (is a plus);
- Fluency in English (mandatory);
- Fluency in French (is a strong plus);
- Multitasking, attention to detail and rigor;
- Reliability, professionalism, ability to work under pressure.
