Your tasks
- Joining the team of Interiors means participating in the development of an extensive range of products for premium car manufacturers: _from integrated body controllers to sunroof electronics, from door control units to innovative light control electronics_. _
- As a part of our team, you will:_

Core Responsibilities:

- Define the product/system in close alignment with all stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate the software development with a team of highly qualified and motivated Software Engineers
- Ensure cross-disciplinary alignment between System, Software, Hardware, Mechanics, Manufacturing, and the Customer
- Support technical discussions with your strong technical knowledge
- Prioritize and Plan the work packages based on customer needs and available resources
- Ensure successful delivery within the agreed timing, budget and quality requirements
- Assist acquisition activities by creating the software concept and effort estimations
- Promote your product internally and externally
- You will collaborate with a strong international team and see the impact of your work on streets around the globe._

**Profile**:
Basic qualification:

- Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related Engineering disciplines
- 3+ years of professional experience in automotive software development and/or embedded system engineering
- Knowledge and experience in agile development methodologies (Scrum and SAFe) and tools (Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Git)
- Advanced programming skills in C/C++ in a POSIX/Linux environment
- Good planning and organization skills; Ability to structure and decompose complex topics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Customer oriented mindset and good problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and make decisions; Capability to take initiative
- Motivation for international projects and availability to travel when needed (approx. 5-10%)
- Profound in English language (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional experience in leading software projects
- Professional experience in and automotive development processes (ASPICE) and the Product Life Cycle
- Knowledge of embedded systems, software architecture and design, software testing
- Understanding of Functional Safety and Cyber Security requirements and concepts
