**Job Description** Your contribution to something big**:
As a Commodity Buyer, you will join a purchasing project team in a global environment and become part of our Competence Center for Residential Water Heaters in Aveiro.

**Your responsibility**
- Drive the global material field strategy of electrical water heating systems, in close alignment with the global product owners;
- Supplier management & supplier strategy on the assigned material groups;
- Cost analysis and management, conduct annual price negotiation with suppliers, market scouting/analysis and cost benchmarking;
- Contract management, Supply chain risk management.

**Qualifications** What distinguishes you**:
**Education**: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management or similar;
**Experience**: Previous commercial purchasing experience for material field purchasing. Experience in a complex multicultural and international setting;
**Know How**:

- Good understanding of supply chain, production, and industrialization processes.
- Knowledge of SupplyOn, SAP or similar ERPs is valued;
- Proficient in Excel.

**Personality and work style**: Interest in working within an international environment. Good communication and negotiation skills. Solution oriented mindset with interest in working in a continuously changing environment, with new processes and digitalization tools;
**Language**: Excellent domain of English, written and spoken;
Availability to travel.
