**Job Overview and Main Goals**

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing and Purchasing Materials Associate to support our sourcing and purchasing activities. You will report to the Purchasing Manager/ Planning manager and be part of a knowledgeable, committed and collaborative team. You will also have the opportunity to participate in new product development and build fruitful relationships with suppliers

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain records of goods ordered and received, validate invoices from suppliers
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability
- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
- Lead open purchase order status meetings with suppliers
- Administer purchasing systems
- Stock Control
- Ensure all processes are properly documented at our collaborative workspace (Notion)

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- High knowledge of supplier management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key procurement metrics
- Proficient in MS Office/Google Tools and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
- Full English fluency: speaking, writing, reading

**Nice-to-Have’s**:

- Fluent in German or other European languages
- US Experience
