**What you’ll do**:

- Lead and pro-actively shape collaboration with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, handshake needs and translate into precise analytical solutions impacting the business strategy and decision making;
- Research, design, implement and deploy state-of-the-art scalable data analytics and machine learning solutions enhancing the business’s capability to achieve goals and objectives;
- Mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies;
- Drive a data science learning culture across the organization, share data science best practises, actively participate in knowledge management and guide junior experts and graduates in and outside the Data Science team.

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s in quantitative fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Social Sciences, Data Journalism, or related fields;
- Skilled in working with both local and remote stakeholders; skilled in working in multi-national and multi-locations;
- Solid experience and expertise across data integration and data management;
- Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets;
- Experience with visualisation tools and several years of hands on expertise with Data Mining, Machine Learning & AI technologies;
- Experience with using Cloud Native Technologies (GCP experience is a plus);
- Strong communication / stakeholder management;
- Hands on programming experience with statistical languages e.g. R, Python;
- Hands on experience in data visualisation (Tableau or similar);
- Applied Scrum / Agile methodologies;
- Professional experience and knowledge of Internet and/or Telco industries;
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as Data Scientist in international teams, including mentoring junior team members;
- Portuguese/English Language proficiency.
