Hiscox Europe is currently hiring a business analyst for its European Claims operations and change department. Our claims department has the mission to help our insureds in the moment of need, delivering our promise. Based in Lisbon, you will be working with our teams across Europe to design and implement innovative/digital solutions.

How Will You Help Us?
The business analyst will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of projects/initiatives with direct impact on Europe claims strategic priorities. Integrated in a international team, will be working with all European-based teams while having exposure to leadership. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the way we deliver our promise to claimants and stakeholders. Your pragmatism, can-do attitude and adaptability will be key to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify gaps, and propose solutions.- Support the implementation and maintenance of projects/initiatives related to claims processes, systems, and tools.- Document and update business processes, workflows, and best practices.- Collect and analyse data from various sources to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.- Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and trends.- Conduct quality assurance and testing to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
