We currently have a vacancy for a Purchase Responsible in our factory in Alcochete/Portugal.

**Mission**:
Ensure the monitoring and follow-up of suppliers. Establish professional and trusting relationships with suppliers to ensure that delivery conditions and deadlines are met.

Management and operationalization of the Purchase and Planning area;
Planning and management of raw material purchasing plans in accordance with sales and production forecasts;
Raw material stock management in accordance with defined objectives;
Collaborate in the shipping and transport process;
Maintain the purchasing system organized, following the purchasing strategies defined by the company;
Maintain the supplier evaluation system;
Keep the file of approved PM and packaging material specifications up to date;
Ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards;
Ensure that the department complies with QEHS system procedures and work instructions;
Comply with and enforce safety and environmental rules, in accordance with the rules implemented in the company;
Identify points for improvement in the area of food safety;
Comply with the Food Safety standards implemented in the company

**Experience and Education**:
Higher education or equivalent
Experience in the role over 5 years
Solid knowledge of logistics and planning, preferably in a multinational context
Fluent in English and computer skills
