Linux Administrator

**Linux Administrator - hybrid - WFH/Remote**

My client urgently seeks a Linux Administrator for an immediate start.

This is a contract/freelance role running for at least six months.
- Providing 1st/2nd/3rd level support for implemented solutions for Customers.
- Collaborating on Global Projects.
- Participating in 24x7 OnCall Service.
- Daily L2/L3 Support.
- Planning and implementing operating systems and system management solutions.
- Developing scripts and standardizing and optimizing automation processes.
- Developing and maintaining container-based infrastructures (On-Premises).
- Monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Taking over Incidents and Changes as part of 2nd Level support.
- Improving methods and tooling landscape to support Server Administration and proactive monitoring.
- Handling Incident and Change management responsibilities as part of 2nd level support and On Call duties.
- Several years of experience in system administration of UNIX (AIX, HPUX) and Linux (RHEL, SUSE, OEL).
- Experience in Bash Scripting.
- Proficiency in Automation Processes using Ansible.
- Proficiency in System Management using Red Hat Satellite and SUSE Manager.
- Hands-on knowledge of SUSE Rancher and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Knowledge of Change and Incident Management.
- Proficient in English language.
