**YOUR MISSION**

We are one of the fastest growing startups in Europe and the way we want to grow is making every city profitable To reach this goal, we need a 360, analytical and results driven person to take ownership of our Finance & Strategy function in Portugal. At Glovo, we work hard and we love what we do. If you are a problem-solver person with a 100% hands-on attitude, looking for an energizing work environment with big ideas we'd love to have you on our team The position is based in Lisbon.

**THE JOURNEY**
- Manage operational information, financial statements and analysis of budget
- GM right-hand in any finance & strategic topic
- Report to HQ on the financial and accounting statements
- Oversee treasury/accounting
- Supporting in monitoring financial policies
- Coordinate the preparation of Financial Statements
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports and analysis (P&L and cost-saving plans).
- Be involved in management control: definition of procedures, the design of budget processes
- Supervise the relationship with third parties: external auditors, administrations, external consultants
- Prepare analysis and justifications of real data, forecasts, and deviations
- Analyze of procedures and external audit - Contributing to the continuous improvement of the processes promoting solutions to possible problems detected and reduce manual tasks
- Ad hoc analysis to provide the different managers with information for decision making
- Study the viability of investments/projects - reports, strategic reorientation, etc
- Assess new business opportunities and new vertical developments and changes
- Incubate and lead the launch of new projects in the Country
- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE**
- +6 years of experience in a similar role, providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions
- Knowledge of advanced Excel
- Be a graduate student in Management, Finance, and/or Economics
- Experience in similar sectors or technology companies will be valued
- Advanced English
- Analytical profile, goal-oriented, and teamwork
- Advanced accounting and finance knowledge
- An empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude
