As a Buyer, you will manage the administrative part of the purchase order and order confirmation process for all our European entities related to Spotbuy purchases, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the processes, and securing compliance, while providing accurate information and timely reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for the contract and price negotiations for small volumes in order to contribute to the profitability of the company.

In your new role you will:

- Validate the **usage of the correct Purchasing channel **;
- **Negotiate prices and payment terms with the suppliers;**:

- Convert **Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders **;
- Transmit **Purchase Orders to external vendors **;
- A **pply the golden rules of supplier engagement **established by Corporate Procurement;
- **Ensure alignment with Infineon’s Purchasing Processes **, Guidelines, and Working Instructions;
- Keep **close communication with both requestors and suppliers **;
- Cooperate and contribute to **cross-functional and cross-site teams and projects **.

You demonstrate a strong customer orientation that helps you to quickly establish successful cooperation. You are target driven and passionate about profit. You have a self-driven working style and are willing to take responsibility, being able to work independently and structure your own work. Furthermore, you have excellent analytical skills that support your attention to detail and focus on delivery.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A **Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, **or a similar field of studies;
- **At least 3 years of experience as a Buyer or a similar role in Purchasing - **ideally in an International Environment;
- Good understanding of **principles and concepts of Purchasing **and **good negotiation skills **;
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially **Excel **- SAP is an advantage;
- **Fluency in English**:

- German is a plus.
