Junior Project Manager

Our client is a company that provide solutions to the challenges inherent to the aerospace industry, namely the

development of propulsion systems, airborne platforms and advanced manufacturing technologies.

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to be integrated in the Portuguese team.

**Location**:Caparica,** **Portugal

The focus will be the efficient execution and delivery of projects for various customers around the world and the

support of other more experienced Project Managers on large programs within the company.

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Setting up and controlling the planning, project cost, and scope (including making reports).
- Participating in day-to-day aspects of project management.
- Give executive support in activities mostly related to business development and strategy.
- Coordinating and managing internal resources and third parties/vendors.
- Maintaining the relationship with customers and/or stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics, Industrial Engineering or other relevant field.
- At least 1 year of experience in the domains relevant to the post (relevant MSc studies would also be

considered). The position will be tailored to the level of experience and additional experience would be

viewed very positively.
- Technical skills in project management will be highly appreciated.
- Mastery of computer tools for planning and executing projects (e.g. from Microsoft Office, MS Project) and

systematization of information (mind mapping; databases, etc.).
- Knowledge or motivation towards the Space technology will be an asset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive and oriented towards process improvement and new solutions.
