**\uD83E\uDDD1‍\uD83D\uDCBB What is this role?**

Bounce is hiring a
** Head of Finance**. This is an opportunity to set up the Finance Team for all of Bounce You will be in charge of defining and executing all finance related processes from accounting, FP&A and controlling. You will also be setting up a team, hiring and developing strong talent. You will be partnering closely with Revenue Operations and People Operations. This is a full-time onsite role based out of our corporate office in Lisbon, Portugal.

**\uD83D\uDC77\uD83C\uDFFE‍ ️ What you’ll be doing**:

- Accounting - work with outside accountants, supervise and review accounting activities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation; work on audits, etc.
- Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) - develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Controlling - handling payments, expenses and invoice management and employee reimbursement processes. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Treasury Management - manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring the availability of funds for operations and growth initiatives, and optimize cash management
- Tax strategy - define tax strategies and monitor tax legislation to ensure compliance, manage tax reporting
- Building and mentoring our Finance Team - defining hiring strategy, hiring and developing our Finance Team
- Partner with People Team on compensation planning, benefits, payroll execution, etc;
- Partner with Supply Team on revenue projections and commission payments;
- Partner with the CEO on fundraising and investor relations (board decks, investor updates, etc).
- Partner with the Legal and Operations on insurance projects, contract reviews, vendor management, renewals, etc.

** Your profile**:

- Degree in Finance, Business or Economics, or relevant work experience in the field.
- 7+ years of experience in finance roles - background in financial consultancy, auditing or banking.
- 2+ years of experience in a high-growth tech startup environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.
- Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.
